Laelia Speciosa
Known as "Flor de Mayo" or May flower. This splendid Laelia speciosa is a mexican orchid, .  It has one flower per each bulb, one leave per bulb. You can clearly see the size of the flower based on my hand (notice I have big hands).   To get more plants, just separate the bulbs carefully. While doing a little bit of research on this one I found this orchid is known as flor de Mayo (May flower), it can be found in the mexican states of Michoacan, Queretaro and Guanajuato.

I keep this plant outdoors and move it in when it has flowers so they last longer and we can enjoy them better.  My records says it flowers during April to June with same behaviour since 2007.

This is a small one, not classified yet, ready to show a flower of a size of a nail.  Looks like 2 flowers within the same spike.

I have pending to write about Phalaenopsis, if you have ever bought a Plant at Costco, for sure is one of this type...
